Google Shared Stuff a letter from a friend

Here's some unusual food for thought.
You see, unlike the offline world where most people get paid according to the number of hours they work, the Internet is a whole new animal altogether.

 The fact of the matter is...
You're NOT paid according to the number of hours you work.
Doing 1 hour of work doesn't have to make you $9 an hour.
It's true!
An hour of work can mean THE difference between $0 and $1,000 online.
There are no on the Internet...

* You can wake up to much more money in sales than you would normally make at an off-line job.

* You can score a joint venture and get 100 sales "just like that."

* You can become successful virtually overnight.

Again, the nature of the net is limitless.

And that's the mindset you should adopt if you want to create maximum profits in minimum time.

Start thinking:

"What are the activities I should undertake that can have  maximum impact on my business in the shortest amount of time."
Sure you can slave away writing 1,000 articles over a 3-year period or you could score one big joint venture which only took you 15 minutes to communicate.

Know what I mean?

And this is the X-factor that separates the spectacularly successful from the mediocre majority.

--------------------

The Amazing X-Factor

--------------------

It's how much VALUE you create with your time that makes ALL the difference.

Based on the 80/20 rule, it's highly probable that 80% of your results are derived from 20% of your efforts.

Think about it. What things are you doing that are making you the most progress?

Your 20% is probably...

* Product Creation

* Writing Sales Copy

* Market Research

* Traffic Generation

* Studying Internet Marketing and Copywriting

Now, you're likely consumed by the the 80% of your efforts that don't produce much of your results.

Consisting of...

* Chit Chatting On Forums

* Customer Service

* Messing With Your PayPal Account

* Cleaning Your Office

* Checking Stats

* And A lot More Small Things That Don't Have A Significant Impact On Your Bottomline.

I know you must do these little things. The problem is, don't let them consume you.

Don't plan to do small things.

Plan fast impact tasks.

Take the 20% of tasks that are responsible for 80% of your impact and increase them.

Every month, week, and day you want to get a piece of paper and write out your fast impact tasks that you want to achieve.

Focus on those.

Don't get sidetracked and don't let your head spin with all the little things.

...That said, if you need something technically done, for example, then don't spend a week on it.

Instead hire a technical guy ASAP to handle it.

Just spring for it.

This way, you can increase your impact exponentially in a short amount of time if you focus on expanding the 20% of tasks that have the biggest and fastest impact for you with just a little planning.

Now go make the most profitable use of your time.

The 'little guy' CAN succeed!
